On another note, besides being Lucas’ 1st Film and being used on the Yellow 32’s license plate in American Graffiti did you know that THX 138 is also the license plate on the convertible Ford driven by Vince Vaughn in Swingers? A little homage to Lucas, since Swingers has also become a classic low budget film.

thanks . Ya made my name after American Grafitti. THX 1138 was his first movie. I got that too on vhs. Its on dvd finally. Since CA license plates use to only allow 3 letters and 3 numbers Lucas put THX 138 on the duce coupe. I'm thinking of painting it on my car too. Insted of "GT 350" on the side front fender.
