Just gotta keep lookin bro, I spent months looking, and found one on Ebay, in Texas, bought it and got it home, now I drive it daily, fun as hell let me tell ya...
Weird as it sounds, he may not be too far off the mark.
When I started looking, My wife found the first one. I found the two 86's within hours of gaining the brain capacity of an adult (brain injury from the accident put me at about 5 years old Cognitively - not much has changed there ) and became aware I was going crazy without seeing my car parked out front. I found the 84 1E on eBay a while back that got ignored due to vin error by the seller (0 bids), missed out on it... Two months later the buyer who got it outside of ebay put it up for sale for the same price he paid. Too many projects.
Well, Now I have too many, but I like it that way.
Now for that part that makes people hate me... In a Turbo Ford camaraderie kind of way I hope.

I plan to pay it forward. These cars are promotional restoration projects and will go to good homes once complete. If I get attached to one like I was to my 84 2A, I'll keep it though.
