I see billet knobs for 87-89 models, but not 90-93. Do the knobs off of later model Mustangs (94-04) fit my 91? I saw some Steeda knobs that were listed for 90-04, but can anyone confirm they fit?

Yeah I saw those. I have a set in my Cobra that I like a lot. Can't seem to find them though.

ETA: Oh wait, those satin ones are the ones I'm looking for, I didn't want the Steeda chrome ones. Cool, thanks!

Save yourself the money, i had a set and a few other billet items back in the day, it all looks like crap in a fox interior.
Chrome futuristic rocket ship handles do not look right in a 23 year old interior.
Thank god for ebay, i got all my money back on that junk.
Less is more when it comes to a fox interior.

Well I like the more subdued satin knobs. What got me to thinking about it is I turned my temp knob to heat the other day and felt it crack.

Still, there won't be anything of decent size in the interior to compliment the satin either.

How about getting the billet aluminum and having them anodized black?
That could be good looking and effective.
Any attention drawn to the a/c knobs is negative attention, you want the controls to blend in, not stick out.
It's like when guys buy billet gas tank covers, people pay good money to hide the tank cover, then on the other end of the spectrum you have guys making them stick out, why, it's ugly?

I like this idea, I have no idea where I could get that done though. Is it a pretty common thing to do?

Ozz

I think I have a problem here.

Yea, just do a Google search for anodizers and find one that does private mail order work. You could also have them powder coated, they make some colors that are designed to have that "anodized" look.

Black anodizing would look killer; very subtle and you won't see everybody else doing it. Most wouldn't even notice it either, but it would sure still look nice.
