Those wheels and stripes are rumored 2006 year model options.

That silver, Titanium, is supposed to be available in 06. The stripes if Ford offers them probably won't look like that see the current stang 04. Ford does those short stripes blah. The wheels are also suppose to be available in 06. 18"

My understanding is the wheels will become an option when the convertible comes out, Mar 2005. They were supposed to be an option this year, but a manufacturing delay prevented that.

just wondering where you hear that the 18" wheels are available in march? I actually spoke to a Ford rep, and he said soon, but couldn't give a real date.

im looking at the official 05 mustang brochure at the bottem right of page 24 for those who have it it shows an 05 with racing stripes and it says underneith it
" Racing stripe decals, new for 2005, these accent stripes cover mustang's long hood, roof and rear decklid. Available in black and silver. Dealer installation recomended."
i would say the striped are an option

I'd love it if the convertible had some different wheel options. I'll probably order a gt convertible, and I'm not thrilled at all with the GT wheel options.

Those wheels look too much like the GTO wheels.

Ford tape stripes, dealer installed, only cover the hood, roof, and rear down over the trunk lid.

They do NOT cover the rear of the car below the trunk lid.

They do NOT cover the front of the car below the top grille.

They look pretty lame, especially from the rear of the car.
