You need to do a complete write up on this. I'd LOVE to do the same thing to mine.

Very simple installation! Took me about 20mins to do... Have taken it apart to many times!

all you need is 6 LED Bulbs... thats all it takes to light up the dash

i used a 6 LED (Spark Blue) Wedge Bulb.. You can use any 194 led bulb

Cost is about 16 bucks from where i bought them from...

you have to tell which bulbs you swapped!!!! i did x5 wedges and and it not nearly as blue, but i am still getting some green light so it looks weird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i think the x5 and x6 wouldn't be much difference but im still not getting the effect i want/wanted..i love the way yours looks..... and mine shouldn't be much different. i kinda guessed as to which bulbs do what, and apparently i guessed about a 75%.

cant find any pics of a speedometer backside showing all the bulbs.and if i remember correctly there was some numbers(like 52,48,60's)!help! is there anyway you remeber, lol. i know the pattern is weird!

here is the best pic i could find, possibly put some red dots on the bulbs???i really hate to pull all this apart again, i want to get it right htis time! i also have to fix a jiggling steering wheel

On the back of the Cluster it tells what bulb each one is pluged into. I replaced all the ones that say ILL by the bulb... which are six... i had to on some take the bulb and flip it around and try it again to get it to light... so im sure you have one not lit or one stuck in the wrong spot...

Do you think the 6x are too bright or just enough? Also what would you recommend for the licence plate bulb? would a single inverted be enough? I've been wanting to do this for awhile and your tread reminded me. It looks real good.

those needles are a little too bright though...does that hurt your eyes at night?

your best bet is to do it at night... Pull the cluster just enough out and turn your lights on and start playing with it... its like 2 on each side and two in the middle... can't remember off hand

6x in my Opinion is perfect... I think for the license plate 5x or 6x would work fine too... Not sure on a single... they dont put out that much light... I really havent thought of changing those to LED... i might that would look good
