i6 250 to v8 conversion - anyone had success with 1" drop mounts?

Im busy getting ready to drop in the 393 into our 69 250 - #1: will the lower frame mounts of the 250 work on the 351w?

And secondly - has anyone had success using 1" drop mounts? its a 72 351w or perhaps even 69 with a stock pan -
