A couple of people suggested I clean mine for an issue I am having. What is it, Where is it and what does it look like? What should I use to clean it? Is it something I can just replace? Is it expensive?

what is the issue? are you sure that its the problem? i'd start by pulling the codes first before you buy anything, and make sure this is what is causing the problem. wouldnt hurt to clean it though i guess.

you can see it in this pic,

it's bolted to the throttle body. try taking it off and cleaning it with brake/parts cleaner before you buy a new one.

But I'd also only clean it as a last resort and if you're already willing to buy a new one. Often-times cleaning them makes them crap out.

Good luck.

See the "Surging Idle Checklist for help with all your idle/stall problems. The first two posts contain all the updates to the fixes. At last count there were 24 possible causes and fixes for surging idle/stall problems. I continue to update it as more people post fixes or ask questions.
