Identifying Trick flow heads?

Ok, so I tore my engine down, and i was looking for some ID marks on the heads to ensure that they were the Trick flow twisted wedge heads, and the only numbers I could find were these: SN16377-2 & SN16768-2 I know the heads are aluminum but I want to find out what heads they are exactly so I can figure out my compression ratio and other stuff. Any help appriciated. Thanks...

you'll literally see "Trickflow" engraved into the front of the heads.. its kinda hard to miss lol

well it doesnt have it, and these are older heads, so I'm not sure if the older TFS heads had that or not...

The valves are not in-line,thats the fool prof way.

Bingo!
Check to see if the valves are in line.

However, I thought there was another company that produced twisted wedge style heads at some point?
I could be wrong

I dont know about that,Im pretty sure they got an exclusive patient on it and a good one Im sure.

Maybe you are thinking of a canted Cleveland style head?

If your looknig from the front of the motor (or back),the valve will line up just like this

Back of head-- -- -- --Front of head

on the TFS head,looking from front or back,the valves will look like this

Back of head_- _- _- _-Front of head

See, there "twisted"

The top of the valves(springs) look like that or the bottom. Because the top are slightly offset like that, and the bottom arn't dead center lined up either...

TW heads also have a patent number cast in and the part # on the top of the head next to the valve springs
