I have asked around and noticed that most people idle around 600-800 RPMs for their 1995 GT. What would make mine idle around 450-500 RPMs? Is there any way to raise the idle RPMs? Does it have to do with the fact that my mustang is automatic ?
I would check your TPS on the throttle body.
Also there is a little screw on the TB that takes a flat head screw dirver blade. Turn that a little witht he engine running. I can't remember which way to turn it, but you'll figure it out. Just listen to the motor.
your car will feel better if you bump it up. i tried bumping mine up and turning the idle screw did nothing at all. i don't know why. anyone have any ideas?
