Just got done installing mac lts and wanted to hear what it sounded like with just the headers. well, after about a min it started to surge like it wanted to die out then go up to about 1100 rpms. so i shut it off. dont know whats wrong. someone help

Check to see if the O2 pig tails have contacted the hot exhaust.

Not sure the MY of your car. If it's a 99-04 MY, check fuse F2.2 and F2.8 in the CJB (driver's kick panel).

i turned the egr off on my tuner. its all good now. thanks tho

just for s**** and giggles, do you exactly what fuses those are? i dont have the cover so i dont have the diagram

99-04 BJB CJB fuse panel layout

For the 99-04 model year BJB and CJB fuse panel layouts, try this:

1999 Mustang GT with 01 motor swap, wont fire. Please help - Ford Mustang Forums
