Idling at 1200rpms!?!

After finally figuring out the timing and bumping it to where it needs to be she is idling at almost 1200rpms. How do i adjust this? Does it need to be plugged into a computer? Thanks in advance.

I am aware of this list , but i figured if someone could just pin point the problem it would save me pages and pages of reading , and hours of guess and check.

Everything you need to know is in the first two posts. There is no guesswork involved, it is observation and diagnosis. There are many possible causes to idle problems.

If you are looking for someone to tell you to go buy a $13.95 part, screw it on and your problem is gone, you must either be dreaming or partaking of some mind altering substance...

It all comes down to how bad do you want to find and fix the problem.
