what tire size? Is the stock size 245/45/17 in a better tire with a drag radial better than a 275/40 or 315/35?

im going to a 275/40/17 sumitomo that i got for free , half tread left , out back on the stock rims tomorrow because my stock size kuhmos are useless now , I will post my opinion in a few days

275 is the biggest i would go on a 17x9

say i got the 17 x 10.5 and a 315 - how would the traction really be out back? or am i really just better off getting the 17x9 with a 275 or just keeping my stockers and getting better stock tires . lol this is so f'd up - all these sizes to choose from. thanks in advance

oh

if you go for a wider rim it will slow you down when moving because of weight but will give better traction.. 17 9 rim is probably good for a GT..

im putting a 275 on my stock 8 inch rims because i cant afford the rims or drag radials right now , bigger is better
