ick.. a salt water flood car

ok to get the ign out turn the key to the run pos. and stick a small pick or screwdriver into the hole at the bottom of the steering collom cover.then you will be able to pull the cyl out once you depress the pin. you will see it the hole is directly under the ign cyl.

Depending on it's location during the storm it may not have been in salt water. Most of the cars from the New Orleans area wouldn't have been salt water.

There is a wrecking yard a few miles from my house. It looks like a Barrett-Jackson of flood cars. Just from the Interstate I can see a Ferrari and a Lambo...A couple of people have tried to go look but you have to have a dealers license to get in.

There is a guy selling an 03 Cobra for 10 grand...not sure if he still has it.

just find it odd that you cant pull the key cylinder out.
not sure if your state puts a salvage title on flooded vehicles. must be pretty spooky buying used cars in your state. id want to know if a vehicle was involved in a flood damage or deemed a salvaged vehicle.
but i had a car lined up to put in that mod motor i just sold. already found a buyer for the donor. or else throw in 5L . a clean 4 cylinder rolling chassis. vin stickers on both front 1/4 panels matches the original vin. was going to make another modularfox street car.
curious on that ford gt 500- was it a dealership flood damage or was it just a random owners car?
