I'm wanting to install a push button and toggle switch and bypass my original starter altogether my question is on the toggle switch I have to connect the yellow battery by itself then the rest of the wires connect to the other terminal on the switch with a wire connecting the switch to the button then the wire from the s terminal from the solinoid is that correct or am I missing something or does anyone have any suggestions on how to wire it up without the ignition

We used a toggle and push button on all the stock cars we ever raced. Wire the big yellow battery power to one side of the toggle. Attach all the leads which normally have ignition power to the other side of the toggle. Attach the s terminal on the solenoid to one side of the push button. Connect the ignition side of the toggle to the other side of the push button.
