Mooresville? You going to the Nascar Institute? Just about all the Nascar teams are in that town. Dale Jr has a 500HP LS1 Camaro that runs around there with. Now that's competition! That's sad that I know this but my 5 year old son is a Nascar freak.

Dude, That makes me want to puke. I grew up in Mooresville, but that was in the day when American Steele was the ony steele to be found. I knew one dude that had a mid 70s Celica, but it was the laughing stock of town. High compression, big cams and multiple carbs where the norm. Friday and Saterday night, Every one took their hot rods up and cruised Main st, from Hardees to Dairy Queen (Dairy Queen aint DQ any more it's some kind of plant place or something). All most every car in the High School parking lot was some kind of Hot Rod. I had a Plymouth Satelite Sport convertable for a while, then two F100s and then a 72 Mach 1. My best friend had a 69 Camero, I used to wip his butt on a regular basis. I bet there is still a lot of American steel there, just got to look. The sad thing is that I bet some of those ricers belong to the kids of my hot rod buddies from the old days. Mooresville does have a pretty good drag strip, you should check it out!

Your Dad's advice is better than mine. You should just ignore them... for now(who knows, they could be cool). It's just not worth risking getting your car vandalized. I hate ignoring stuff like that myself, believe me. But, the more you ignore stuff like that, the better off you'll be in my opinion.Focus on having fun at school.

Oh yeah, and studying.

So do all these kids go to the Nascar Institute? And they're ricers? If I was a nascar driver and I saw one of my engine builders drive up rocking dual fart cannons he would instantly be fired. But thats just me.
