OK GUYS , my friend is Mustang guy he build a lot Mustangs and he have 10sec 94 Stang , today he spend half day in tryin find out whats wrong with my Stang and why I run on 7 cilynders ,
He check everything from , dist cap, wires rotor(from his Stang ) , did comprassion again , check like 10 times injectors puls on injectors every f****** thing but cilynder #8 is DEAD ne heat on header for some reason so he come up witj : comprassion is good when is cranking engine but when its running its lean down 100%
So next what he gonna do is take apart f****** heads and see what is bad , demaged pistons, ring or valves or something else
So I been thinkin there is a few choice
Build 302 with SVO heads and GT intake for $2500
331 Stroker kit
Fixed what is broken (if is piston or rings) and buy some nice used alu heads
Or buy Stock engine from wracked Stang with low miles
I'm short with money very short , next monday going check out can I get some money / loan like $2500
What you think guys

BTW on way home some punk a$$ in Civic cat me in fron so I pissed off because Stang run bad and pissed off b/c he cut me I down shifted from 5th to 3rd doesn't metter my Stang running like **** I kill that mofo , f*** him

Sorry to hear about the problem. Eventhough you say money is short I'd still go for a nice little 331 if you have to do a lot of work. Just bite the bullet and get the 331 then find some used aluminum heads for pretty cheap. Not only will you have a pratically new engine... It'll be a badass one at that too.

Make sure you are getting a spark to that cylinder. It could just be a bad wire.

He replaced the cap, rotor, and wires from his friends car to his so thats not his problem unless its that spark plug.

The spark plug should be changed out then. Always to little things first.

Seth, check out the latest issues of MM&FF or 5.0 Mustang. Mustang Parts Specialties is advertising rebuilt 94/95 motors; they don't list the price but they 'say' they are cheap. If this is not an option, perhaps the cheapest route to go is to have your shortblock rebuilt and pick up a set of new GT40Y heads off ebay for around 700 bucks!

I'm not sure MPS *knows* the definition of cheap...

http://www.stangparts.com/products/list.cfm?Page=3&TypeID=5

-- Used 94/95 GT engine, $699
-- Used 94/95 Cobra engine, $1750 (optimistic, used GT40 irons & Cobra intake does not equal $1000)
-- Rebuilt "by Ford" (yeah right) 94/95 GT longblock + lower intake, $1750

Personally, if I had to do a new shortblock, I'd get a CHP 347 for $2k, even if that were all I could afford. The E7's would choke it up badly, but then I'd save my pennies for that $2k trickflow head kit, and the result would be one very kickass combination.

what is needed

I know this may sound simple but just remember everything that an engine needs to run: fuel, air, spark, compression. If all these things are being fed to the cylinder in the right proportions it should work...any out of wack then there is your problem.

Like I said my friend is Mustang guy since 1983 , and he said he can't belive , cylinder get spark , get fuel, comprassion and air but doesn't works , header tube on #8 is cold is f*** , it's dead, he try push some air from compressor , no big leah thru valve just "sssss" and he said thats just little ,
He said only thing can be when you crank it up car get comprassion ,but when engine running comprassion is gone thats only way to dead cylinder like mine, he want take head or heads apart and see whats bad
And he wanna charge me around $500 for labor (thats if he have to change piston rings ) is that good price

$500 is a good price for the amount of labor he'll be doing. About a 20 hours I belieave.
So about $25 bucks an hour. Most shops will charge at least, very least $50.00 an hour in my area.
