Welcome back

Unless he bought aftermarket ponies, I'm gonna guess 4-lug...

Maybe you could invest a chunk of that change into a 5 lug conversion, eh? Maybe some better brakes would be in order to compliment and offset the hosses under construction...

You might do well to start modding the chassis and suspension now before you go to tearing the underpinnings out with a twin-screwed 347. As for the shortblock, I'm pretty sure you could have an engine built cheaper than what FRPP wants.

My .02 worth....... If you want to build something up plus use a power adder then get a 03-04 Cobra as stated previously and stroke it out to a 5.0. And you have something you built from the ground up. Would no longer be stock. Justifing keeping the 5.0 badges on the fenders and remaining EFI. Not to mention RELIABLE for any type of driving be it street, strip, or auto-x

Well i just got a 89 gt and its pretty clean, yes its a 4 lug. I was thinking about a cobra but for now i want to keep on this 5.0 project. I love the foxbody look. I found a 347 out of another foxbody so im talking to the guy but i think he wants to sell the car and motor together. Yeah and on the suspension game im looking into going with a steeda makeover . With the tires and brakes i wanna go with 17/18 inch wheels . Brembo brakes are a must. I got drill and slotted rotors for my 06 turbo mazda and they work miracles

I ended up getting a centerforce clutch my buddy told me it should hold up well into the 500's so thats exactly what i wanted. I made my decision, im going with a 347 stroker. Im gonna try to find the best deal on a dart or blueprint short block and go from there.
