Ok so my current CD player just wont play CD's and I dunno why. I don't really like it anyways so rather than paying to have it fixed i'm just going to buy a new in dash unit.. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking for something that is relatively cheap $ but doesn't skip every other word when i'm driving, and has a nice look to it. So post your pros & cons of cd players you've owned, or if you had one that just stood out from the rest and was inexpensive lemme know

Ive never had any trouble in the past 2 years of owning my bottom of the line Pioneer. I think its the 1500, although now w/ the new models its called the 1600.

i would definatly go with a pioneer. you can get a nice one pretty cheap. i have never had any problems with mine. i also would suggest alpine. i have a bit more expensive one but i think it was worth it because the sound quality is great

I can't remember the model , but I have a Kenwood that I paid $170 installed and it is also an MP3 player. I love it. Doesn't skip (and I have FRPP Bs) But I can put in a CD with like 180 songs and leave it in for a week.

The CD player I have right now is a JVC, and out of the blue it just STOPPED playing CD's. I put the CD in, it tries to read the CD, then ejects it a few seconds later... Burned CD's, Legit CD's, nothing works.. So I kind of want to stay away from them Lol..

any CD player with the DIN sizing will work. I have used Kenwood from day one and had nothing but the best of luck with them. I even have one in my boat and it rarely skips shooting across Lake michigan...and they're cheap!!! Go with Crutchfield to as they aren't any more expensive and you get all the wiring kits/adapters to set it up
