Beware if you are purchasing a Granatelli MAF. They no longer make the 75mm. They subsitute a 90mm and it will not fit stock plumbing on the 5.0.
I called and they were sorry and said I could get a reducer and try to fit it other wise return it. Summit Racing took it back with no problems and were generally very helpful, a good company. Granatelli a bad company. IMHO.

Thanks for the heads up. I have always wondered about them... I think I'll stick with Pro-M (I forget the new name)

I wish I had seen this post before I ordered my Granatelli MAF from Summit, which arrived yesterday. The one which arrived is a 90mm unit, which does not have the mounting spot for the MAF bracket. It is also a "flange type" like I believe the 94-95's use.

They did include an adaptor which bolts to the flange for a regular style cone air filter, but it looks like it needs about a 5" cone filter, and I'm not going to go out and buy another expensive cone filter. It also included a "reducer", but it is simply not going to work with my supercharger inlet tube.

The really anoying thing is that the MAF pictured on Summit was the one I wanted, the 75mm "bullet" style. Now I need to call Summit up and see if they will take it back. They are usually pretty good about that kind of stuff, so I don't expect a problem.

Anyways, like the original poster said, make sure you know what you are getting!

New name of the company formed by former employees of Pro-M is Professional Mass Air Systems.

In keeping on topic--the GMS stuff is getting a hella bad rap lately--Caveat Emptor

This is a very interesting read on Granatelli. I wouldn't put that **** on my car if they paid me.
