I am having trouble with my #8 cylinder having a bad tick. It sounds an awful like the injector. I know there has been a recall on the 2001 and up having the head tick but mine is a 2000. There is also a sucking sound coming from the base of the injector. I have the noszle kit and the sucking sound is coming from the base of the NOS noszle. Do I need to take it apart and reoil the ring on the base of the noszle. See if I turn the noszle and injector a bit, just kind of wiggle it, the sound gets less. But then it finds its way back. Is the tick related to what I think is a bad seal between the injector and the malifold?? Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.
