Is there really no supplier that carries fox inner fenders/splash shields? Amazingly I can find every other Mustang generation BUT for foxes.

How bad is the crack? I'd just deal with it. The aftermarket inner fender shields are complete $hit. I've ordered them after market for many cars and trucks and I returned them. They're floppy, the do not fit or line up, and they are half the thickness.

Give Jim @ PPI a call. He had some brand new NOS ones litsed at one time but sit down for the price. He also is good at finding stuff and comes across alot of oem stuff too so you can leave your # with him at he calls you back. I did this on some hard to find NOS stuff during my resto project, great place to deal with.

@SVT32VDOHC - If I could even find a set of aftermarket liners I'd be willing to give them a try, however I do not think they exist.

Holy hell $269 for one side is that a joke! I purchased the car without any inner fender/shields so this is why I'm curious, if I just had a crack I'd be repairing.

Make sure they are for your right year car tho. 79-90, 91-93. The DO make a difference at the front between the bumper and wheel.

I have 2 junkyards around me and from past experience with them I figured they wouldn't even have any fox stangs in the yards. I may check for the hell of it this weekend.

I ended up finding a right side liner for $18 + $30 shipping on ebay the other day that looks to be in great shape, maybe I will get lucky and find the left side in the JY.

The reason I want the liners is #1 the stock airbox without silencer puts the open element filter right in the path of spraying water/debris, plus it seems like not running them is just inviting rust?

LOL at the big meats comment, I wish but I've got body work and other odds and ends I want to attend to before the really fun stuff!

Once I get a chance to dive into the bodywork prep I plan on coating everything to prevent that.
