Please guys, if you swapped gears from stock to anything, and you are experiencing vibrations, shakes, driveline noise, DO NOT hesitate and get yourself on of these puppies. The D/S makes such a big difference, that you will be amazed. I could not engage 5th gear after going over 100MPH without almost breaking my wrist. Now I shift at 120MPH like if it was 2nd gear at 2000RPM's.

Please trust me on this one and get it. I was reluctant from getting it at first but I said "what tha hell, worst case scenario is like 50 pounds of weight that Im taking off my horse neways (remember this is only 6 pounds of "rotating" weight or about 50 of dead weight)". Car does seem to haul ass earlier than before (ask some STI's off the line ).

Price paid was $215 from Summit plus $8 S/H (fookin quick shipping by the way). It usually goes from $240-$290.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!

I would just like to state that us automatic owners can also get all the benefits from a aluminum driveshaft as well, you just have to re-use your front stock yoke. I got mine back in March before the price of aluminum went up, $139 plus shipping.

Congrats! I had the "shakes" after swapping to 3.73 gears, the aluminum shaft took care of it! I do have to question your statement about the 50 lb. dead weight savings. I think there's only a few (maybe 3) lbs. difference in weight.

Wuddup Golden, in reality the dead weight you get off your driveline is only around 6-8 pounds, but this is of "rotating mass" which translates into some bigger number of "dead weight". I will ask around for a formula and post it later on.

Man Im feeling so happy right now when I go on the expressway, it feels like you are riding on a breasts cloud .

Not really but it could happen to you. Plus it takes some weight off your car for the good neways.
