installing 160amp alternater (questions) i found it ignore this post
the alternater that i took out had two connectors. one was three prong and the other had like two and then one but they were together i think one is the stator and the other two are power. on the new alternator do i just cut that wire and put a new plug for the stater. also the directions say not to take the old power wires of the starter relay,why not what will happen,
