Hey i have a 94 GT a i got today a Summit radiator SUM-380428. 28x19. I was wondering what kinda of radiator cap do i use? Like the factory style? And is there anything else i should know before i install the radiator on sunday?
I would DEFINITELY take it to a rad shop and have a petcock installed in it, if you don't there is NO way to drain it without popping the lower rad hose off... and trust me you won't want to do that. I also had 2 L brakcets welded onto mine to attach my fan to the rad without zip ties. It cost me a total of $35 to have all that don, and now the thing is like a factory installed rad, and it cured ALL of my cooling issues. Good luck, and be patient. Its not the easiest thing to do, its just time consuming. I had to remote mount my CCRM too and make a bracket for the overflow tank.
