Hello everyone,
I'm getting ready to do my PI head swap and I just got a set of Bassani Mid-Length Headers. The question is am I going to be able to install the headers on the heads and slide them in? THANKS!

I can tell ya right now no for the drivers side unless you have the steering shaft disconnected. The drivers side has the steering shaft going through the middle of the primary tubes. Pass side you might be able to slip in there if there's the room.

I have them on my 97 and they honestly wernt too bad to install with the heads on the motor, just had to loosen the engine mounts and jack the engine a hair to have the room to get the bolts on.

Close call. That is a tight fit. A better idea would be to pull the engine out, and do it that way. If you already have the heads off, the block is nothing but bolts to the bellhousing.

i'm doing the swap in a few weeks so i'm going to take a s*** load of pics. Maybe post a video or two. I'm installing a ton of new parts at once. p&p pi heads/intake vt stage 1 cams, bassani headers, 24lb injectors w/ cobra 80mm maf, custom made h-pipe for the headers(I hate the sound of an x-pipe) and a few other odds and ends.:D
