Hello all, this is Bill,
Does anyone know how I can install, say, a C&L 70mm MAF sensor in my 2000 3.8L using the stock air box? Am trying to keep the engine components "looking" stock, but would like to give the pony a little more kick.
Thanks...Bill

I would at all costs steer clear of aftermarket MAF's. The only manipulate the stock MAF signal to lean the car to make more power- it is not the size. But it also is done in a manor that is not reliable. Blinding the EEC is NEVER a good idea.

Save you money.

C&L are not the best.... and a 70mm required alot of custom work... the iac wont clear adn alot of other stuff. do you really want to take all that time and money just to loose 5rwhp and tq?

OK, guys...I'll take that advise to heart...so, while I'm asking questions...how about the addition of a larger throttle body...at $258, if if isn't gonna give me at least a little HP....that idea will go to the wayside as well.
What do ya think?

a throttle body is also worthless and will wind up costing you hp/tq you wont need one of those either until you are around 300rwhp/tq
