Installing Lowering Springs

Previous owner cut stock springs. Lol...... wow! I ordered new lowering springs doing it the right way...

Very nice.

Also, I ditched the isolators when I did it. It gave me another 1/2-3/4" drop, but really didnt change much else. People will say that it "make the suspension louder" but if you have caster/camber plates (which you should if you are lowering much) there is not added noise. I just wrapped several wraps of black electrical tape around the top and bottom.

This was mine a couple years ago (damn, this was really 5 years ago!) with the Eibach Pro Kit and no isolators. I just thought it was still a little too high with the isolators. I thought it was about perfect with them removed. Also, remember that the springs will settle, so it will get a little lower a month or so after the install.

I think I'm going to stick with the isolators I don't want any road noise. Man, I'm diggin your ride though I like it.

They did a crappy job at it. That explains the coils being closer together

God that is so ghetto to do that. Glad you got replacement springs for your ride, would you have any pictures of your car before and after?

@trueblue I'll post that before and after pic within a day or two because I have before pic but not the after just yet I want to post both at one time.
