I finally have the time to install my NX wet kit with purge. I'm kinda new to the nitrous world so i guess i have a question or two...

What kind of spark plugs would be ideal for this setup? It's a 99 motor(28,xxx miles), and a 75 hp wet kit. I'm currently running Autolite Double Platinums(APP764). Will I be fine with them or should i get a copper plug?

Does anyone have a link to install instructions? I bought the kit from a friend for 200 bucks so i didn't really care that it didn't have instructions, lol.

I guess that's it for now. If I think of anything else, i'll post again.

Thanks guys.

Firstly, get new plugs. If you want to go with over a 100 shot get plugs 2 heat ranges colder than stock. I am running a 75 shot and my plugs are Autolite 103s (only one range colder than stock).

Never run nitrous and platinum plugs, never. Always use copper.

Also, I wouldn't run over a 75 shot without a timing adjuster. Some guys do run a 100 shot with stock timing, but I would not go over that. Be sure to get it dynoed to check your a/f, it's alot cheaper than a new shortblock.

You can get the install instructions at the NX website. Here are some picts of my install if it helps you any. I for one don't like putting the solinoids against the firewall, looks too tacked on.

Good luck and if you have any questions feel free to ask, nitrous is a blast.
