hey guys, ill be doing my springs over saturday and sunday. only have 1-2 hours tomorrow..all day sunday. i did this before installing my cams, pullies, shifter, tb,..and so on.. so ill do it again cause it really helps. im following the stangnet install guide of the steeda sport's but im puttin in the pro-kit. what are the main things to look out for/ any tips that will help the install go smooth, or things that slowed you up that can be prevented? thanks for any input.. im really looking foreward to a smoother ride, and hopefully that great stance still that i have now.

it was soooo long again when I did mine, but I used that same guide. Really the slowest part for me was trying to get those bastard springs out, seemed like it was a tight fit or something. But it's nothing major at all.

never ran it in the quarter, there's none close by. I will next year though when I have upper/lower control arms and slicks and skinnies

I was wondering how hard is it to install aftermarket springs? Is it a job that can be done with simple hand tools and jacks?

It really is easy. If you are just doing the springs hand tools are plenty. The only things I needed when I did my suspension were:
1. 24" breaker bar
2. ball joint press kit
3. impact wrench
4-10. beer

borrowed 2 & 3 from advanced auto. Tool borrow rocks!!!

The install on :SNSign: is very good I referenced that a couple of times

you don't need a spring compressor, and you might have to remove the front brake lines

DO NOT use a spring compressor. And you won't have to remove the brake lines, just remove the clip that holds the ABS line to the frame. 10mm socket.
