Intake and Header Noise

Did anyones car get louder with an upgraded intake and headers? I'm referring to the exhaust.

As long as the noise isn't an exhaust leak, it should get marginally louder due to the increase in flow through the engine. Aftermarket headers are designed to scavenge better than the stockers, so you'd probably hear more from that alone.

LT's will make a kind of metalic noise under the hood that you don't hear with shortys.

As for the exhaust db level increasing ..................

Sure ...... your making more horsepower!
