Intake back fire!!???

when i start the car up in the morining if i dont wait for the car to warm up and i try to drive off as soon i hit the gas no real response back fires from the intake???

T--- is that you? Wait until I get my dyno put in and we can fix it. This is very common with these cars after adding a cam. A little more fuel pressure will cure it, but sometimes it costs a little peak horsepower.

New O2 sensors will warm up faster and make the lean-pop go away quicker.

Does the same here. I learned not to get on it while it is cold.... It is bad for the engine anyway.

Ditto. If I get on it hard enough when its cold to get it to pop, then I consider it a reminder that I should treat it a little nicer...
