As for the cam - I would think it's one of those things where if you don't have the time, money, resources or knowhow to tune it properly or match it to your needs and combo, you probably shouldn't buy an aftermarket one unless it's an FTI or at least designed for the 94-95 computer. The stock one isn't a bad piece though. Maybe get some new rockers to get more lift.

Intake - get the Performer, better than spending twice s much when you inevitably upgrade it later.

I highly suggest the edelbrock.

Go with the edelbrock... Don't waste your money on the Cobra intake.

Buying a Cobra is not a "waste" - they sell for as much as you pay for them, so you "waste" nothing. The P heads flow ~195cfm at .500" lift and the Cobra flows 205-210 cfm so it's a very good match - as is the Performer - and can probably be purchased for less. EITHER will work well for you.
