yeah, there was an extended warranty (via a class action lawsuit against Ford) for the intake, but sorry bro, its already passed for our 2000 model year. i tried to get mine replaced under warranty when mine cracked, but i was literally 3 days past the cutoff date, so they denied my claim and wanted to charge me like $1,000.

not that hard a job

Ford wouldnt honor mine , said it expired , bought a new one on line , pretty easy took about 3 hrs with a coffee break , manifold was about $250 2 years ago , all plastic so take it slow use a 1/4 drive hand rachet , torque was like 14 lbs follow the instructions , clean the heads real good & watch nothing falls into the engine ! I used a shop vac & sucked up all the muck under the old one , 2 years & no leaks no problems .... Ford wanted $700 for the part & $90 an hour labor !

JB weld it.

Or, you can buy a new one online for under 200$. A used one (that isn't cracked) for under 100$. It's really not a bad job to do yourself.
