Intake pipes

If you have a pretty much stock 5.0,[89],what is the best pipe for the money? Do you really need a larger meter? How would YOU rate the ones that are available?

If you are talking about the cold air intake pipes, they are a complete waste of money. They look nice, but that's about it. A larger MAF will help a lot depending on what mods you have done.

They aren't a complete wast of money. Of course that's from someone who has one. The gains aren't huge, but for a hundred bucks give or take, they do add a little bit of horsepower. As far as which brand, they're all pretty close. Just make sure you get an actual K&N filter....I've seen little blue ones...just an opinion I guess. Have a Densecharger on mine....and it looks good
