I am getting ready to put my engine back into my Mustang and I had to install a 1/2" spacer in order to clear the taller valve covers. However, when I bought this intake (Edelbrock Performer) it did not come with any of the bolts nor did the spacer. So I am trying to figure out which size bolts I can buy to resolve this issue.

Is there a place that would sell me just the proper length bolts for the 1/2" spacer to work with the intake? Or if someone knows the proper lengths it would also help out.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Jim

Which spacer kit did you get? I got a Trickflow spacer and it came with bolts and 2 gaskets.

I also bought the trickflow spacer but it did not have any bolts with it. The easy solution to this is to contact the place I bought it from to have some replacement bolts sent.

Thanks

I just put a Proffessional Products manifold on my 92 which the same as the performer. The stock lengths to bolt the upper to the lower are, 5"long x 5/16" x 18 threads per inch. The shorter bolts are the same thread size X 1 1/4" length. Just add the 1/2" to that and you should be fine.
