Coolant is dripping from my intercooler pump. I'm not really sure if the pump is not running at all, or a seal is just broken. When I drive it, the temps are normal. If I have to replace the pump, does Saleen use their own pumps, or will the Bosch pump used on cobras and lightning work fine?

BTW the car is a 2001 Saleen s281sc

Why can't you tell if the pump is running? How is it wired? Mine is wired to a key-on source, and I can easily hear it running if I turn the key on.

To actually answer your question, the Bosch pump should work fine; that's what I'm running. Does the Saleen pump use the EV1-style fuel injector electrical connector? If so, it'll work fine. If not, you'll need to switch connectors, which is no big deal.

The intercooler pump is working. I just tested it this morning. I figured I could save some money if I can just fix the leak and throw the pump back on there.

I ended up buying the bosch pump for 100 dollars on ebay, just for the peace of mind.

How do I replace the intercooler pump? The one that is already on the car has metal hose fittings and the bosch one does not. Instead the bosch one uses clamps.

EDIT: I am returning the bosch pump. The one on my stang is an Oberdorfer. I can just buy the Repair kit which comes with all the gaskets and seal, since the motor in intact.
