Can anyone help me out? The Interior dash lights just went out in my 99GT. All other lights (dome, headlights, fog lights, etc.) are working just fine. I have already checked the fuses inside and under the hood, they all seem fine. Recently my fog lights have seemed to keep breaking bulbs. This will be the 3rd time replacing the left bulb and I have replaced the right bulb once. I don't know why they keep breaking but it is getting really annoying! Anyone had the same problem or know how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated greatly!!!

Yeah, I tried that first when they didn't come on when I turned the car on that night.

Do you have a circuit tester or VOM? make sure u have power on the load side of the fuse. If you do..you might possibly have a connection loose or unplugged behind your instrument cluster.

I tested every fuse with a circuit tester and they are all fine. I pulled out the instrument cluster and stereo and did not find any loose connections. I'm stumped!!! I don't want to spend alot of money at the dealership if it is something I can fix on my own. Somebody, anybody....HELP???

Still need help?

Come on guys, most people solve problems on this thing. Still no dash or AC face plate lights!!! Dome works, stereo works, engine lights work. I have checked and re-checked all fuses...seem fine. How do you see if your Relay fuses are blown??? Thats the last thing I can think of. Fog lights don't work either, but headlights, turn signal, etc. do??? HELP???????

The headlight switch that dims and brightens the cluster/ac lights could have a worn spot where you turn it back and forth. The foxbody's used to have this problem too.. although in those it was a box you could just replace, I'm not sure how you'd replace the entire assembly in ours.
