Interior lights, or not?

Just got a new 04 GT. The buttons on the wheel to control the cruise, and the ones on the door panel, to operate the windows and locks do not illuminate at night. The ones on my 00' Explorer do, and I am wonder if I have a problem, or is this normal?

Ya, I know I could call the dealer, but the people in this forum are much better.

they are the same way on my 04 gt there is nothing wrong

It's possible to install switch lighting your self with small LEDs. You can see the results at http://members.cox.net/n0v8or/index...EDs, PM me. I purchased them at Digi-key.com
