i have a two tone black and tan interior which i think personally looks great. if you are looking to do some serious interior work i suggest you check it out.

Pull the interior out and line it with sound deadner. No need to find another to do it with. More then likely it will rattle as well.

What is it you like better about the 99+ interiors over the 94-98? They're practically identical. Cupholders, no dash clock and on later years a double DIN radio but for all intents and purposes you'll still be staring at the same interior that Ford put in the 1994 Mustang.

You can swap center consoles fairly easily and I believe people have swapped the double-DIN center stacks into earlier cars. Almost any interior parts swapping you do will require painting the new pieces because Ford progressively lightened up the blacks and warmed up the grays every few years during the SN95/New Edge's 10 year run.

Pinpoint the offending panels and use velcro, foam tape, sound deadening material or whatever it needs to kill the rattles. A few strategically placed pieces of the right material can go a long way towards killing rattles.

Maybe a few accessories would spruce things up a bit? New leather shifter and parking brake boots and a nice shifter knob made a big difference to my perception of the interior. So did replacing the completely worn and digusting steering wheel and fixing a few small, ****ling items like a cracked door lock pin and a broken and dangling foot-well vent. I like really subtle touches but lots of people like aluminum or carbon fiber trim pieces or painting trim in accenting colors. Lots of things you can do.
