Intermittent Dashboard Backlight

The backlight on my dash works intermittently. Sometimes ill turn my car on and they will work, and then when I turn the car off and then on again they are out. Sometimes it they will just light up while the car is on. The needles still light up however, and the dimmer works for the climate controls and the backlight when they are on. I checked all the fuses related to the dash, I think 4 of them, and they are all good.

Also when I open my doors, even when there is no key in the ignition, the interior light will turn on and the car will beep, is this normal?

Also not a bad idea to check the ground behind the center console. It's shared by multiple devices including the radio.
