Hey guys, maybe you can help...

I looked all over in that car for an ipod hookup. Is there an ipod hookup at all??? Any ideas? 2 Things the car doesn't have is that hookup and a trunk release on the inside of the car!!!

pull the radio's head unit and you'll find the jack for the AUX Input on the back ...

look at your Remote Entry Penndant on your Key Chain and you'll find a trunk release you can use inside of the car.

the new models 2008+ have the AUX input jack in the arm rest the older 2005-2007 (i think) don't.

As far as the trunk release if you crawl into the trunk and close the lid and look up you will see the faint glow of the release handle. Thats the only one in the car...lol

If you want to control the ipod from the head unit, buy a new head unit. There are many on the market, better quality sound and cheaper than the Shaker stuff.
I have an Alpine. Pioneer has one with navigation, bluetooth, ipod controls and voice activated for less than $1,000.

my jack is in the arm rest... it is to the right of the extra aux power port. it just looks like a washer glued to the plastic.

once you plug it in, press the aux button on your radio until it says "line in"

Yes, 07 + has the jack under the arm rest.

Crutchfield for example and other places also have adapters you can buy and you can route it up through your center concil if you choose and unlike the factory set up you can choose songs on your headunit and not have to have it hanging out your arm rest plus it keeps the ipod charged at the same time. Unlike hte facotry one you have to hold onto when selecting songs and it doesn't keep the ipod charged. Yes they make this to plug and play into your factory radio, pricey but effective.
