Interesting, looks like a pretty complete package, but is that a little high for all that stuff used?

Not really... I think its actually a really good price. You have to look at everything included.

The IRS unit itself
Brakes - Rotors, Calipers, and Rubber lines
Stock Cobra Springs
Stock Cobra shocks
Driveshaft - Different length than Solid Axle shaft
Mounting Brackets
Parking Brake Cables - Different than solid axle
Exhast System - Pipes and mufflers
Exhaust hangers - all rubber hangers needed, even the necessary tip hangers for pre 99 mustangs
Hardware - all necessary hardware was meticulously saved

Thats a LOT of stuff. Easily several thousand if you bought it from the dealer.

how hard is it to convert 01 gt rear to IRS?

I think it is more expensive than hard. I am not sure but you might even need to change your tailpipe cause cobra's go under the axle not over

I would kill to go to a live axle from one of you guys. Hell if you were in my area and were interested in swapping, I'd pay for all the labor with no problem at all.
