Is a MACH 1 induction possible on a V6 ?

I have V6 with a pony package which come with a few extras including a GT hood scoop but I think its just for looks since the hood when open no opening is shown just a big padding so I dont think it works...its probably one of those bolt on for looks but is it possible to but a mach1 induction on it with a custom cut out or do I need a mach 1 hood for it ?

^ thats the CDC kit and yes it will make you have a functional hood scoop(works like ram air) and will be identical to what comes on the mach 1. since u have an 02 your stock hood will be fine but youll have to cut a giant square out in the middle. even tho their pricey ive heard the CDC kits are great quality. if its that important yo ya then the CDC kit is the way to go
