Hey guys, I have an 03 GT with about 69,kkk miles on it. Its a 5 speed. I was going to start saving money to order the Zex 75-125hp Shot System, but Id only use the 75hp jet. heres a list of what Id be getting

Zex Wet Injected System
Zex Dual Purge System
Zex Saftey Blow Down Kit w/ 2 Fittings
Zex Plug In Bottle Heater
Zex Remote Bottle Opener
Zex Tracion Control Window Switch
Zex Bottle Pressure Guage
3 Switch Nitrous Control Panel
24# Fuel Injectors
Zex Power Racer Spark Plugs

Then Id probally do a 3.73 Gear Swap and get rid of my 4.10s But do you guys think Id be fine running it with all the components. Id really only use it at the drag strip. Id make around 335hp at the wheels just at the strip. Maybe the occaisional spray on the street lol. Thanks for the help guys

The injectors are not needed with a wet shot as you have a seperate line for the fuel already and its sprayed at the same time as the nitrous. Don't buy those pos zex plugs either. Just get a set of ngk or autolites that are a 2 steps colder than stock.

That being said, a larger fuel pump isn't a bad idea. (to support the extra fuel flow).

But yes, a 75 shot is relatively safe.

I would leave the 4.10's
Stock 19lb injectors will work perfectly fine for that application
Get with some Autolite 103's (You only need 1 step colder on that small of a shot)
If you can swing it I would always recommend a bigger fuel pump, but if not you should still be fine for a 75 shot. Don't go to a 125 with the stock pump though.

Ok cool thanks for the help guys. The only thing is with 4.10's, Im already trapping at 104mph. Say if i did LT's, Aluminum drive shaft, a few other bolt ons plus the wet 75 shot, wouldnt I be really close to that 111mph mark? And obviously 5th gear isnt a racing gear. I know I could always run a taller tire, then Ill have to build a rear end. Thanks again guys, very helpful

I have trapped at 112 before with a 4.10 and a 26" tire in 4th. What are you shifting at?

I would get a good tune, and only go 1 step colder plugs. I used NGK TR6s.

From what I have read/experienced, up to 100 shot is fine. You CAN go higher but, you are starting to lessen your margin for any error.

Like everyone else has said, you won't need bigger injectors for a wet kit. A bigger fuel pump is a good idea. Pretty much nobody stays with the 75shot forever! I would at least get an SVT Focus pump, thats what I use and I spray 125 shot at the track. I also would go with a different plug than the Zex plugs in your list. NGK TR6's gapped at 0.035 here also. Also, I would not recommend the plug-in Zex bottle heater. I have one and it doesn't do a very good job. I plan on getting a real bottle heater soon. A good tune is also a must.

It is only as safe as the user makes it. That being said, I would recommend you do alot of research on how and why nitrous works. As for an RPM window, 3000-5800 rpm would be a safe range.

Computer simulation of 75 Hp, 100 HP, 125 HP added to stock 2v PI. Note how high lower RPM torque is.

100 wet shot is safe with stock tune. Just get some cooler plugs and a good setup. Like it has been hashed, you do not need injectors.

I usually shift around 5300. I really should wind out first gear, then shift at like 5500.

Thanks for the help guys, Im still in the air. Im up in the air on wether I want the Zex kit, or get HiTech St. 2's and have the constant power. Thanks for the help guys

If you can afford the cams and a good dyno tune, I would go that route. Don't get me wrong, I love my nitrous kit. But like you said, the cams will give you power all the time.
