Im gonna have an s/c trim @6-8#'s with typhoon intake, 70mmtb 73maf, 30# injectors, 255 gph pump, full exuast, msd btm, power pipe with stock bottom and heads. Will the e-cam make a significant difference with this combo rather than retaining stock cam...reason is Im trying to keep this as close to smog legal as possible in california....I do plan on putting edelbrock or trick flow heads on later (after I blow the head gaskets)...should I throw the cam in there while I have the intake and timing gears out.....how difficult is the cam install...thanks in advance

Hey just wait and put your heads and cam in at the same time.
you should get afr 165 heads, they are very good heads and still smog legal.\

I would install the heads with everything else...but damn I cant wait to save another $1000 for heads right now...I already have close to $3500 and 3 months worth of saving invested in to these parts that are sitting in my frekin closet! I need the power now! I start school next Monday...Hey are you going to Cal-speedway on Monday (Memorial day) for street legal drags??? Let me know...I'll be there...

they are having drags on monday, i didnt know about that, what time are they starting at, if so then for sure ill be there.

and i know what u mean about saving up money, my car with bolt ons, tf street intake, stock cam and heads went 13.6 at 106 with a crapy 2.1 60', so maybe you should put on the intake and just wait until u get the heads, and do the cam and heads at the same time.
