i called a shop here in fl. and they told me to get an s-trim put on my car and setup ready to go i was look at 6,000.00 thats tuned and all. is that about right or a rip off????? i don,t know any thing about this stuff i just need all the help i can get thats why i asked the question about the bolt on ealier.

install should be~$500. And a tune should run you another ~$500

thats sounds like a lot unless the you are getting the kit too and the kit costs like 5k

Unless it's an intercooled or aftercooled kit, that's way too high.

Yea that seems a little high....I think Tim A MPH will install and tune a novi 2000 kit for $4500. Give them a call and see what they say....you dont live too far from them

too much. get a Novi mongoose kit @ MPH for cheaper or a KB for just as much.

Well from I heard, the "mongoose kit" really includes installation and *for sure* a dyno tune. He told me himself that he would dyno tune the kit for free if your bring a car with the mongoose kit up there. I just cant remember is he said he would install it too for that same price. Maybe I can find out

if it includes the kit it might not be a bad price, it depends on what part of the country you are in though. labor rates here in CA are higher.
