is it possible to install oil pump shaft from distributor hole?

btw i started at 12:45 afternoon and was finished by 7:30 in the evening... this of course included a few breaks and a trip to the parts store...

I have 3 oil pump shafts in my oil pan. I toss a new one in the pan every time I change the oil.

ive heard this works good!! i pour a gallon of antifreeze in my oil just to get that extra lubeage every once in a while..
