Im going to be putting the pan on next weekend and will not be using a main support, but the idea of a windage tray sounds good, has anyone ever done this? which windage tray??

Yep. Did it on my stroker motor for the 67. I've heard of more people having to leave off the tray when they used the main suport.

I have a DSS main support and windage tray. The main support attaches to the top of the main caps via their bolts. The windage tray bolts up to the main support.

You can get a pan with a built in windage tray and crank scraper.

My girdle (on the motor, not the one for sale) had drilled and tapped holes for the attachment of the windage tray.

Look into a moroso pan (cheaper but same as canton) with a built in windage tray.
