Is it safe to run no spring isolators?

I was wondering if it is safe to run no spring isolators? Are there any negative effects? Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

By isolators, what do you mean? no rubber between the spring and shock plate?

Wear to the shock tower metal perhaps...squeaking..
