I did it I just ordered my Trickflow kit (H/C/I) and it should be here in 2 weeks. My problem is, some people tell me to go ahead and take some time to port them a little before I put them in to gain as much HP as possible, and others are like dont bother you wont gain that much.....I am gonna have them for 2 weeks befroe I am putting them in so I have time, but I dont wanna f up my new heads.....I was just gonna do some basic stuff...what does everyone think?

by the way they are the Twisted Wedge heads....

I wouldn't touch them. As it is, TW heads are big for a 302, so I wouldn't expect to gain a whole lot from porting them. Now, if you had a stroker...

I agree with Dave. Don't touch the heads. I might clean up the casting flah on the intake though, just don't remove too much material.

Would port-matching be benefical at all? Just a thought.

The ports shouldn't require much if any portmatching, but its always a good idea to check.

I got the Street intake (idle to 5500)
Do you think I would have to port match them, even though they are all Trickflow and packaged together?

i agree with killer just clean up the casting flash on the intake, you definitly wont get much if any power from porting your stuff. now if you have a week to kill before the stuff goes on you should polish your intake
